The objectives of the Lake Shore Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club, Inc., (as stated in our Constitution and Bylaws) are to further the advancement of the breed by:
Club activities take place in Northeastern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Club activities include fun matches, training sessions, picnics and other events that the membership organizes. The Club's primary purpose is to be representative of the owners, breeders and exhibitors in its immediate area. The Club's area is designated as the greater Chicago-land area with many members in Northeastern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. While membership is unrestricted as to residence, regular and household full privilege memberships do require residence in our Club's designated area. We are a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America recognized club and have AKC license status. Board of Directors
Our club newsletter is published quarterly. Newsletters contain articles of interest, announcements of club meetings, events and news. Our newsletters are e-mailed to all club members as well as newsletter subscribers. For a 1 year newsletter only subscription, send $15.00 (check payable to LSGSMDC, Inc.) to : Newsletter
only - Lake Shore GSMDC, Inc. E-Mail List Our club members are invited to join our Google Group e-mail list. Post questions, tips, club events, brags (new titles, championships) and other accomplishments. Membership is required for our e-mail list.
